Contact and requests
There are different routes depending on what you need from Punto Cronista: a free research consultation, a correction, a privacy request or an accessibility report.
AT A GLANCE
Before the detail
- Editorial contact: Ettore Dore.
- Telephone: +39 334 243 5154.
- The educational consultation is free (€0) and starts with four main form fields.
- The project is not an emergency bank line, legal representative or fund-recovery service.
01 / NOTE
Editorial contact
Ettore Dore is the contact named for Punto Cronista content. The telephone number +39 334 243 5154 can be used for questions about a guide, the methodology, a correction or a request already submitted.
We do not publish invented office hours. If a call is not answered immediately, the form is usually the clearest way to leave the subject and correct contact details.
02 / NOTE
Free consultation: what to put in the four fields
The form asks for your name, email, phone and the platform, company, domain or issue you want to check. A complete case file is not necessary for the first contact.
A clear question — for example, “I want to understand whether this domain is connected to the company name shown in its footer” — gives a much better starting point than sending a large set of unrelated screenshots.
03 / NOTE
Requesting a correction
Provide the page URL, the sentence you believe is inaccurate and the primary source that supports the correction. If timing matters, include the date on which you checked the source.
Do not send stolen credentials, private-account access or unlawfully obtained material. A correction should be capable of verification through legitimate evidence.
04 / NOTE
Privacy requests
State that the request concerns consultation-form data and identify the contact detail used in the original submission so the record can be located without asking you to repeat unnecessary sensitive information.
The privacy page explains the operational 90-day retention routine and the fact that hosting-provider backups, if any, depend on the production infrastructure.
05 / NOTE
Urgent payment or account problems
The project cannot freeze a card, reverse a bank transfer or lock an external account. If the situation is urgent, contact your bank, payment provider or account service through a contact obtained independently from its official website.
The site can help organise a public-source research trail, but it does not replace law enforcement, regulators or qualified professional assistance.
06 / NOTE
What not to send
Do not submit passwords, OTP codes, seed phrases, private keys, PINs, authentication tokens, full card numbers or remote-access credentials. They are not required for OSINT research.
If a document contains unrelated banking or identity details, redact them before sharing an excerpt later, and only if the information is genuinely necessary to the question.
07 / NOTE
Contacting authorities
The project is not an intermediary for CONSOB, Banca d’Italia, Registro Imprese, Polizia Postale or AGCM. Reports and official procedures should be submitted directly through the relevant body’s own channels.
Our role is educational: help identify the original source and understand what it can — and cannot — establish.
